Friday May 29th

Asana & Pranayama Workshop: Students will learn Practice with with Jai, then learn how to teach Kriyas, and Ujjayi Pranayama. They will practice, receive instructions, then take turns teaching one another
Saturday May 30th
9am -11am
Open Level Practice of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation
11:30am -14:00
Lecture: History of Jivamukti Yoga and The Five Tenets of Jivamukti Yoga (philosophy).
Practicum: Fundamentals of Yoga Assists: This practicum is for learning the energetic of asanas, so the new trainees can deepen their understanding of alignment, stability, and safety when teaching.
15:30 – 17:00
Vocal Development: Trainees will teach Surya Namaskar A or Jivamukti A sun salutations to one another in small groups, and receive feedback on the quality of their voice and communication style.
17:00 – 18:30
Sanskrit Chanting and Yoga Nidra: Trainees will experience Sanskrit chanting as a group as a means of experiencing yoga philosophy, then be guided in a relaxing yoga nidra.
Sunday May 31st

Teaching Skills: Jai Shares 5 skills that must be developed and refined in order to cultivate the “positive leadership” that is required for success in the health and wellness marketplace.
12:30-14:30
Practicum: Hands on Assists: Trainees dive deeper into the art of hands on assists to explore the energetics and alignment of yoga asanas. This module is designed to show how me must individuate our teaching to match the students body that we are looking at. It’s all about specificity, applying the practice in a prescriptive manner.
